MV Agusta has announced a new strategic pricing update for the F3 R, positioning the motorcycle more competitively within the evolving middleweight SuperSport category. The Italian-built sportbike now starts at €16,000 in Italy while maintaining its premium equipment and high-performance identity.
Produced in Schiranna, Varese, the F3 R continues to represent MV Agusta’s signature blend of Italian design, racing heritage, and advanced engineering.
147 HP Three-Cylinder Performance
At the center of the F3 R is MV Agusta’s 798 cc three-cylinder engine delivering 147 horsepower. The Euro 5+ compliant powertrain combines strong low-end torque with high-revving performance and the distinctive sound the model is known for.
A key technical feature remains the counter-rotating crankshaft, designed to improve agility, cornering precision, and stability during aggressive riding.
Fully Equipped Electronics Package
Unlike many competitors that separate features into optional upgrades, the F3 R comes fully equipped as standard.
The motorcycle includes a 6-axis IMU platform with four riding modes: Rain, Sport, Race, and Custom. Riders can adjust throttle response, engine braking, traction control, and power delivery directly through the onboard system.
Standard electronic features include:
- 8-level traction control
- Wheelie control
- Launch control
- Cornering ABS
- Cruise control
- Quick shifter
- Rear wheel lift mitigation
A 5.5-inch TFT display with MV Ride App connectivity allows navigation and smartphone integration.
Premium Chassis and Italian Design
The F3 R retains its iconic single-sided swingarm and aggressive Supersport ergonomics developed for both road and track riding.
Additional upgrades include a new slipper clutch with torque assist, reducing clutch effort and improving gear changes. The lightweight chassis and race-focused setup continue to position the F3 R as one of the most performance-oriented motorcycles in its class.
With its updated pricing and full factory specification, the MV Agusta F3 R strengthens its position as a premium middleweight SuperSport motorcycle offering high-end performance without compromise.
