Aprilia Racing has officially revealed the Aprilia X 250TH, a highly exclusive limited edition motorcycle developed using advanced MotoGP technology. The release marks a special milestone, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
The model was unveiled during the United States Grand Prix and is limited to just 30 units worldwide. Of these, 25 motorcycles are allocated to the US market, while the remaining units will be distributed globally. The bike features a distinctive design inspired by the American flag, reinforcing its commemorative identity.
The Aprilia X 250TH stands out for introducing carbon-carbon braking technology to a production motorcycle. This system, previously reserved for MotoGP machines, delivers exceptional stopping power and reduced weight compared to traditional braking setups. The use of 340 mm carbon discs, combined with lightweight carbon pads and advanced calipers, enhances both performance and handling under extreme conditions.
Aerodynamics play a central role in the bike’s engineering. The design is heavily influenced by the Aprilia RS-GP prototype, with advanced features such as seat wings, tail wings, and integrated aerodynamic elements that improve stability and grip. A ground-effect system further increases downforce during cornering, offering improved control and rider confidence.
The chassis incorporates a lightweight aluminium twin-spar frame paired with high-performance Öhlins suspension components. Magnesium wheels and race-spec tires contribute to reduced weight and improved track performance. Carbon fiber elements are extensively used throughout the motorcycle, enhancing both rigidity and overall efficiency.
Power comes from a 1099 cc V4 engine developed to superbike racing specifications. The engine produces up to 240 horsepower and 131 Nm of torque, supported by a high-performance exhaust system and advanced intake components. This configuration positions the Aprilia X 250TH among the most powerful factory-built motorcycles available.
The electronics package is based on Aprilia Racing’s APX control unit, offering extensive adjustability. Riders can fine-tune traction control, engine braking, and power delivery for each gear. An integrated GPS system further enhances data tracking and performance optimization.
Production quality and attention to detail reflect a strong focus on racing heritage. Components such as billet aluminium parts, carbon fiber structures, and premium finishing elements emphasize the bike’s exclusivity. Each unit is individually numbered, reinforcing its limited-edition status.

The Aprilia X 250TH is offered through the Factory Works program, which provides access to racing-derived technology for advanced riders and collectors. Pricing is set at 150,000 USD for the US market, with European pricing starting at 115,000 euros plus VAT.
With its combination of MotoGP technology, extreme performance, and limited availability, the Aprilia X 250TH represents one of the most advanced and exclusive motorcycles currently available.
