American Honda has officially renewed its long-term partnership with MX Sports Pro Racing, organizers of the AMA Pro Racing-sanctioned Pro Motocross Championship — a central component of the summer SuperMotocross (SMX) World Championship calendar. The agreement includes Honda’s continued title sponsorship of the iconic RedBud National, set to take place on July 5 in Buchanan, Michigan — a marquee Independence Day event for American motocross fans.

As part of the festivities, Honda will spotlight its global talent, welcoming Toni Bou, the legendary 37-time FIM Trials World Champion, who will serve as Grand Marshal of the 2025 RedBud National. Bou, alongside fellow Repsol Honda rider Gabriel Marcelli, will perform thrilling exhibitions aboard their Montesa Honda Cota 4RT machines. These showcases will precede the following weekend’s TrialGP round in Rhode Island.

On the racing front, Team Honda HRC Progressive has had a dominant start to the 2025 season. Defending champion Jett Lawrence currently leads the 450cc standings with four consecutive overall wins, continuing a powerful streak of Honda victories at key manufacturer-backed rounds. Since 2022, Honda riders have topped the podium at every Honda-sponsored Pro Motocross round, including notable triumphs at Fox Raceway and Unadilla.

Now entering the second half of the summer schedule, the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship promises more action across both 250cc and 450cc classes, with seven rounds remaining in the SMX regular season.
