Pickerington, Ohio — June 18, 2025
FIM North America, the official continental union of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) for North America, has confirmed new board appointments and the selection of a new secretary general following its annual meeting.
Representing motorcycling activity and FIM Continental Championships across North America, FIM NA includes the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), the Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA), and the Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF).
During the meeting, FIM North America Board President and AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman announced two new board members: CMA CEO A. Ross de St. Croix and AMA Director of International Competition Bill Cumbow, who will serve out existing terms through November 2026. Cumbow, who stepped down as FIM NA secretary general, has been appointed board treasurer.
AMA Chief Operating Officer James Holter will assume the role of FIM NA secretary general, a non-voting administrative position effective from June 2025 through June 2027. Holter succeeds Cumbow, bringing extensive organizational experience to the role.
Additionally, CMA Honorary President John Pineo stepped down from the board but will continue to serve in an advisory capacity.
Rob Dingman commented: “It is my pleasure to welcome Ross and Bill to the FIM NA board. Ross’ leadership and experience will enhance our work in exciting ways, while Bill brings a depth of experience with FIM-sanctioned activity that few can match. I want to thank Bill for his work as secretary general managing the CONU’s operations and welcome James into this critical administrative role. I also want to acknowledge John’s life work with the CMA and FIM NA, and I speak for the whole board when I say we are beyond pleased that John will remain involved in an advisory capacity.”
Continuing board members include CMA Secretary General Holly Ralph as FIM NA deputy president, AMA Director of Racing Mike Pelletier as FIM NA vice president, BMF Vice President David Williams, and Barbados motorcycling representative Roger Worme.
