Indian Motorcycle, the storied American brand, has partnered with renowned custom builder Forever Rad to reveal a one-of-a-kind Chieftain PowerPlus, built specifically for country music icon Tyler Hubbard. Featured in the latest episode of the acclaimed Forged video series, the bespoke bagger merges race-ready performance with premium craftsmanship and upscale comfort.
Over a three-month build period, Kyle Bertsch and his team at Forever Rad reimagined the Chieftain PowerPlus from the frame up. The bike’s PowerPlus 112 V-Twin engine (1834 cc) has been fully disassembled, Cerakoted, and upgraded with the exclusive Santoro engine-bolt Chacho Kit, S&S Stealth intake, and a custom 2-into-1 HPI exhaust showcasing the Forever Rad logo. The powertrain enhancements also include a Barnett clutch kit, refined transmission linkage by Santoro, and a heavy-duty chain conversion from Barnstorm Cycles.
To ensure exceptional handling and ride resilience, the original chassis was reworked for a smooth finish and Cerakoted with Forever Rad branding. The reconfigured frame rides on a Toce subframe, paired with +2″ Big Bear adjustable front and rear suspension. The bike sits on custom SMT retro-series wheels (19″ front, 18″ rear), wrapped in Metzeler Marathon 888 tyres and bolstered by Brembo brakes, Galfer pads, and SMT rotors.
Industrial-quality materials extend to every detail. The Barnstorm-crafted tank with OEM knee pockets, Cerakoted dash, and ODI moto bars perched on anodized Kraus risers highlight the bike’s intentional design. Complemented by Beringer controls, ODI Vans grips, and Cerakoted Arlen Ness mirrors, the cockpit offers both style and function. The build is topped off with a Forever Rad x Saddlemen slim seat, stealth lighting from Kellerman and Combustion Industries, and neat fittings like custom bag rails and hinge covers.

Paint and finish work by Jason Sprengel of SIK Paint bring the bike’s aesthetic vision to life—white, grey, gold, and blue tones layered in Axalta finishes and Cerakote. Carbon fibre fenders and a signature Forever Rad LP6 headlight kit round out an aggressive and polished appearance.
“He was super open to collaboration and any of my ideas… I kind of told him, I trust you. You’re the professional,” shared Tyler Hubbard, reflecting on his creative partnership with Forever Rad.
“I was pretty blown away… This is a beautiful gift that I will enjoy for years. The fact that nobody has a bike like this… makes it even more special.”
Launched in January, Indian’s standard Chieftain PowerPlus introduces the high-performance 112 ci engine, renowned for its dominance in the King of the Baggers race series. The Forever Rad custom elevates this platform with top-tier upgrades and bespoke artistry—making a bold statement in both build quality and emotional resonance.
