The global search for the most original Triumph custom motorcycle is officially underway as Triumph Motorcycles unveils all eight national entries for the Triumph Originals 2025 competition. Based on the modern Bonneville range, the competition brings together creative teams from across the world, all tasked with interpreting the theme “Icons of British Originality.”

Representing countries including the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Thailand, and the UK, each team worked with a local builder or workshop to produce one-of-a-kind custom motorcycles.

The International Entries

  • USA: Built by Bret Johnson (Triumph Indianapolis) and Victor Tulli, the Bonneville T120-based custom pays tribute to British engineering and Indy’s racing legacy, featuring bold blue-yellow livery and heritage logos.
  • Mexico: Created by Aftercycles, this Bonneville Bobber includes touches of British culture like Dr. Martens-inspired yellow stitching and a Platform 9¾-themed badge on the throttle body.
  • Brazil: São Paulo’s Shibuya workshop built “Gaijin” – a dark café racer based on the Speed Twin 1200 with hand-scalloped paintwork and a tail redesign suggesting speed even at a standstill.
  • France: FCR Original crafted “Hail to the Twin,” starting with a Speed Twin 1200 RS. Copper and gold leaf paint highlights the engine, with bespoke wheels and reengineered rear structure.
  • Canada: Motos Illimitées’ in-house project features hand-formed stainless exhausts and custom paint. Pascal Lauzon’s design mixes heritage styling with modern aggression.
  • Italy: Giuseppe Carucci (South Garage Motor Co) drew on 1930s–40s elegance. Built from a Bonneville Bobber, it features reengineered front forks and a chassis redesign for vintage flair.
  • Thailand: Zeus Custom’s “Art of Motorcycle” uses the T100 base. Moo Yong added laser-etched Zeus exhaust, integrated leather wallet, and signature styling rooted in Bangkok’s urban cool.
  • UK: Built by Stockwell Design (Triumph London), “The Bonneville Sunraiser” channels 1960s British rock ’n’ roll with polished metal, vibrant color, and a custom cursive Triumph logo.
