Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, is charging forward in France with an exciting expansion of its dealership network. This strategic growth underscores the brand’s commitment to delivering a premium customer experience and reinforcing its presence in one of its most important markets outside the United States.
Since the brand’s relaunch in 2013, Indian Motorcycle has seen rapid growth in France — now considered one of its top-performing international markets. To support this momentum, the company continues to expand its Indian Motorcycle France dealership network, offering riders unparalleled service and access to the full lineup of Indian’s iconic two-wheelers.
New Dealerships Bring the Indian Motorcycle Experience Closer to Riders Across France
The latest wave of expansion brings new showrooms to several key cities, each adding to Indian Motorcycle’s growing presence and reputation in the French motorcycle market.
ALBI – The Tarn region welcomes a brand-new dealership in Puygouzon, set to open in July. The project is led by Ezechiel and Yoann Chazarin, already well-known in the local motorcycle scene thanks to their operations in Rodez and Albi, and their work with leading brands and Dafy Moto accessory distribution.
AVIGNON – In the South of France, the new Avignon dealership is the brainchild of Suttel Motors, a key player in the regional motorcycle industry. Their involvement adds strength to Indian’s southern network and reflects a growing demand for premium motorcycle experiences.
DIJON – Indian Motorcycle’s presence in eastern France is set to grow with the new Dijon dealership, launched by the Chopard Group, which already operates successful Indian outlets in Lyon, Valence, and Besançon. This marks another vote of confidence in the brand and shows clear momentum in the French motorcycle market.
MARSEILLE – With over 50 years of automotive expertise, the Willermin Group has added Indian Motorcycle to its portfolio, signaling its strategic move into the premium motorcycle space. Their Marseille dealership will serve as a major hub in the Southeast, offering high-end customer service and a complete Indian Motorcycle lineup.
MONTLHÉRY – The legendary Indian dealership in southern Île-de-France is being revitalized by SCT Motors 91, headed by Sébastien Fonseca and Christophe Emptaz. Fonseca is a Kawasaki dealer and Emptaz a professional motorcycle racer — a team that brings both technical knowledge and rider passion to the table.
PONTAULT-COMBAULT & NICE – These two locations are now part of Indian’s strategy of strengthening its foothold in dynamic, high-potential markets through strategic acquisitions. Former motocross rider Ricky Claus and parts distributor Maxime Duflot have taken over these dealerships, reflecting Indian Motorcycle’s mission to deliver elite service in regions where motorcycle culture thrives.
VANNES – The BPM Group, already managing Indian dealerships in Poitiers and Orléans, is expanding its motorcycle division by launching a brand-new showroom in Vannes. As one of the most influential auto distributors in France, BPM’s continued investment in Indian underscores the brand’s trusted position in the premium segment.
A Customer-First Approach
“It is extremely important for us to offer our customers the most suitable environments to discover and experience the Indian Motorcycle brand – from first contact to purchase decision and beyond, with long-term relationships,” says Pierre Audoin, National Sales Manager at Indian Motorcycle.
“To deliver a premium motorcycle experience, we work hard with all our partners to build an individual plan covering quality, strategy, and training. This allows us to provide a recognizable Indian Motorcycle environment that’s also adapted to each local dealership.“
