Brno, Czech Republic, 2025 — Aprilia Racing delivered another outstanding performance at the Brno MotoGP, with Marco Bezzecchi clinching second place and Jorge Martín finishing seventh, marking his first points since returning from injury. The weekend underscored Aprilia’s strong momentum in the 2025 MotoGP season, placing three RS-GP25 machines in the top seven, including Raúl Fernández’s fifth-place finish with Trackhouse MotoGP.
Bezzecchi, who started aggressively and took control of the race in the early laps, demonstrated his continued synergy with the RS-GP25. His second-place finish brings Aprilia Racing’s fifth podium of the year, adding to their previous victory in Silverstone.
Marco Bezzecchi reflected: “I am extremely pleased. It was a fantastic race, and I took some risks – especially in the first two laps, particularly overtaking Quartararo, but it worked because, in my opinion, that was the key to the race… I did my best time on the final lap.”
The Italian rider’s consistent pace throughout the race highlighted the RS-GP25’s competitiveness, particularly in managing tyre performance across long stints.
Martín Makes a Comeback with Top-Ten Finish
After a three-month hiatus due to injury, Jorge Martín returned to action by climbing from 12th on the grid to finish seventh. His performance not only earned him his first points with Aprilia Racing, but also demonstrated rapid adaptation to the RS-GP25 under race conditions.
Jorge Martín commented: “You have to start with something and doing it with a seventh place is a great result after the period of down time… The important thing now is to close the gap behind the leaders and focus on where we can improve.”
Martín’s methodical approach throughout the weekend culminated in a solid result, setting a strong foundation for upcoming rounds.
Trackhouse and Fernández Add Depth to Aprilia’s Brno Success
Trackhouse MotoGP’s Raúl Fernández contributed to Aprilia’s impressive day by securing fifth place, further proving the RS-GP25’s all-around capability across teams and riders.
Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing CEO, praised the team’s collective effort: “It could not have been a better weekend. Marco was practically perfect and it was wonderful to see Jorge back on the track… Our hunger is our strength.”
With Brno marking yet another high note in their 2025 campaign, Aprilia Racing’s focus now turns to capitalizing on this momentum for the rest of the season.
