The much-anticipated Bike Bonanza returns to Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb on Saturday, July 5, 2025, bringing a full day of high-octane motorcycle action to one of the oldest motorsport venues in the world.
Marking 120 years since the venue’s first motorsport event in 1905, this year’s celebration promises a thrilling spectacle featuring more than 100 motorcycles across four capacity classes, including sidecar outfits and Morgan 3-Wheelers. The iconic 1000-yard, 1:6 gradient hill climb track will host everything from modern performance machines to rare historic racers.
Fans of classic racing are in for a treat as the renowned Lansdowne Classic Series makes its Shelsley Walsh debut. Over 20 historic motorcycles from the pre-1962 Grand Prix era—including Nortons, Triumphs, AJS, BSA, Matchless, Rudge, and Vincents—will roar up the hill, reviving the golden age of 1950s and 1960s racing. Norton Motorcycles will be providing factory support for this prestigious grid.
Adding to the historic theme, 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Barry Sheene’s first Grand Prix victory at Assen aboard a Suzuki RG500. In tribute, three working RG500s will perform demonstration runs led by Sheene’s former teammate and racing legend Steve Parrish.
For attendees looking to get involved, the all-new celebrity-led ‘Ride-In’ from Strensham Services will offer motorcyclists the chance to ride through the scenic Worcestershire countryside alongside Steve Parrish, culminating in a group run up the hill climb course. A portion of ride-in ticket proceeds will support the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Beyond the racing, visitors can enjoy live music, trade stands, club displays, and Steve Parrish’s entertaining ‘Bikes and Banter’ talk show. Motorcycle enthusiasts will also experience the exhilarating end-of-day run-offs, as the fastest 10 riders compete for ultimate honours on the legendary hill.
