The Aprilia RS 660 Factory once again proved its racing pedigree at the 2025 edition of the Aprilia All Stars event, held at the Misano World Circuit. Marco Bezzecchi, Aprilia MotoGP rider, delivered a stunning lap time of 1’45″129 in the highly anticipated Race of Stars. His performance set a new benchmark aboard the latest RS 660 Factory—completely stock, with no performance modifications.
The RS 660 Factory, a middleweight sports bike from the Noale-based brand, continues to impress with its remarkable ease of use and exhilarating on-track performance. Known for its excellent power-to-weight ratio, race-ready electronics, and a chassis that has redefined expectations in its category, the RS 660 is engineered for both everyday road enjoyment and competitive circuit riding.
Aprilia All Stars 2025: Racing, Heritage, and Community
Held on June 4, 2025, the Aprilia All Stars event attracted over 20,000 fans, uniting enthusiasts with Aprilia’s riders, motorcycles, and legacy. Among the many highlights, the Race of Stars stood out as the most awaited competition—a unique showdown where seven rider pairs, including legends and current competitors, raced on the new Aprilia RS 660 Factory bikes.
Stock Configuration, Race-Ready Confidence
Following race regulations outlined in partnership with the Italian Motorcycling Federation, all RS 660 Factory bikes used in the event remained in standard factory configuration. The only modifications allowed were the removal of the rear-view mirrors and license plate holders, alongside the installation of an SC Project exhaust system—approved for type use and supplied by Aprilia’s official MotoGP partner.
Importantly, the bikes retained their factory-installed ABS system, developed specifically for both road and track scenarios. None of the participants found it necessary to alter the recommended Öhlins suspension settings listed in the user manual, underlining the bike’s natural balance and adaptability.
Le Mans Start and Pure Racing Spirit
The race began with a thrilling Le Mans-style start and featured two rider changes per team. All competitors used Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC1 tyres, maximizing grip and performance. From experienced racers to special guest participants with different skill levels, every rider was able to extract top-tier performance from the RS 660, demonstrating its accessibility and versatility.
The team of Marco Bezzecchi and former racer-turned-mechanic Carlo Corradini took the overall win. Bezzecchi’s blistering lap time of 1’45″129 broke last year’s fastest lap (1’45″467), showcasing the continuous improvement and refinement of the RS 660 Factory platform.
While Bezzecchi and Corradini celebrated victory, the performance across the grid was equally noteworthy. Each rider, despite limited qualifying laps, posted competitive times—testament to the RS 660 Factory’s user-friendliness and high-performance capabilities. Designed as a lightweight, agile, and technologically advanced motorcycle, the RS 660 Factory continues to deliver exceptional fun on public roads while thriving in the world of track racing.
