Three Aprilia Riders Secure Top 10 Finishes at Mugello MotoGP 2025 Grand Prix

Mugello, Italy – Sunday, 22 June 2025

Aprilia Racing achieved a strong collective result at the Mugello Circuit, placing three RS-GP25 machines inside the top ten during the full-distance race of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship’s ninth round.

Marco Bezzecchi delivered an impressive performance once again, climbing through the field to finish in fifth place, validating the competitive pace he had shown during Saturday’s Sprint. His resilience and consistent speed underscore his growing synergy with the RS-GP25.

The Trackhouse MotoGP Team also celebrated success with Raúl Fernández taking seventh and Ai Ogura, returning from injury, capping off a strong weekend with a tenth-place result. The double top-10 finish by Trackhouse marks continued progress and competitiveness across Aprilia’s satellite program.

Lorenzo Savadori finished seventeenth, continuing his essential development work for the RS-GP25 platform. Despite the position, his contribution remains vital for refining the bike’s performance in race conditions.

Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing CEO: “Three Aprilias in the top ten is certainly a good result. It is a great pleasure to see the Trackhouse MotoGP Team RS-GP25 bikes competitive with Raúl and Ai, who has improved with every run since being back from his injury. The most gratifying thing for me, besides Marco’s umpteenth comeback ride, is that our hard work is paying off and we cannot help but be proud in Noale, although obviously not fully satisfied. The development achieved with Lorenzo and the package we tested in Aragón gave Marco a bike that is undoubtedly better than the one from the previous race. Doing the fastest speed in the race here in Mugello is a small reward, but we will most definitely be growing even more.”
