BMW Updates CE 04 Electric Scooter with Three Trim Levels for 2025

BMW Motorrad has announced a series of updates to their futuristic urban electric scooter, the BMW CE 04, set to be available in three new trim levels for 2025. Originally launched in 2021, the CE 04 quickly made headlines for its cutting-edge design and won an MCN Award for Best Urban Electric in 2022. Now, BMW has refreshed the model to offer more customization and new features to meet growing urban mobility demands.

The CE 04 retains its distinctive, forward-thinking design while introducing added functionality and improved equipment packages. For 2025, buyers can choose between Basic, Avantgarde, and Exclusive versions, each offering different levels of style, comfort, and technology.

All versions of the CE 04 are powered by a 20.1bhp electric motor, with maximum output reaching 41.6bhp, delivering brisk urban performance. Charging times remain competitive, with a 20% to 80% charge achievable in just 45 minutes using the optional quick charger. Standard charging from empty takes approximately four hours and 20 minutes.

Enhanced Trim Levels and New Options for 2025

The new Exclusive trim stands out as the most premium, offering enhanced weather protection with hand guards and a front windscreen. Additional features include heated grips, a heated seat, and a laser-engraved rear wheel for added style. Heated grips and seat options are also available on lower trims.

Prices for the updated CE 04 start at £12,190 for the Basic version, with each trim level distinguished by unique paint schemes and optional extras.

Further options include a factory-installed E-Call emergency system, an A1 licence-compliant power reduction kit, and a dynamic package featuring adaptive headlights, cornering ABS, traction control, and an additional sport riding mode.

Urban Range and Practical Features

Designed with city life in mind, the CE 04 delivers an urban range of approximately 80.8 miles (130km). Riders can choose between Eco, Rain, and Road riding modes, providing flexibility for varying conditions.

All models come equipped with a large 10.25-inch colour TFT display, offering clear, essential riding information. Optional features like tyre pressure monitoring, a centre stand, and quick charging further enhance the scooter’s practicality for daily urban commuting.

BMW’s latest updates to the CE 04 ensure the electric scooter remains at the forefront of urban mobility, blending modern design, advanced technology, and everyday convenience for city riders.
