Iconic Motorcycle Brand Returns to Devon with New Ocean Group Partnership

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has re-established its presence in Plymouth through a new partnership with Ocean Group, just months after the previous dealership shut its doors.

Located at St Mowden House on Longbridge Road, the new Triumph showroom is scheduled to open on July 1. While full-scale redevelopment plans are set in motion for a grand relaunch in spring 2026, the dealership is already operational and taking customer enquiries.

Full Range of Triumph Services Available

The new dealership will serve riders across Devon and Cornwall, offering the complete range of Triumph motorcycles, accessories, and aftersales services. Ocean Group confirmed that customers can expect full showroom capabilities, despite the interim setting.

Ocean Group Expands Motorcycle Portfolio

The opening of the Triumph showroom strengthens Ocean Group’s presence in the premium motorcycle market. Known for its existing BMW Motorrad operations in Plymouth, the group now extends its expertise to Triumph’s iconic lineup.

“We are thrilled to bring the iconic Triumph brand to Plymouth. Our team is passionate about motorcycles and committed to delivering the exceptional service and expertise that Ocean Group is known for. We look forward to welcoming riders from across the Southwest,” said Graham De Val, Managing Director of Ocean Group.

Triumph UK Welcomes New Retail Partner

The partnership has been welcomed by Triumph UK, citing Ocean Group’s strong reputation in premium automotive retail.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ocean Group to the Triumph dealer network. Their proven track record in premium automotive retail and customer service makes them the perfect partner to represent Triumph in Plymouth and the wider Southwest region,” said Devron Boulton, Triumph UK General Manager.

The collaboration signifies a fresh chapter for Triumph in the Southwest, ensuring riders in the region have direct access to one of motorcycling’s most storied brands.
