The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team secured strong double top-ten results in a high-intensity 23-lap race at the legendary Mugello Circuit, as Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder claimed 8th and 9th place finishes respectively at the ninth round of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship.

Pedro Acosta bounced back from his Saturday Sprint crash with a determined ride on Sunday, narrowly edging out teammate Binder in a closely contested duel. The effort marks a valuable recovery for the MotoGP rookie, whose maturity and pace continue to impress in his debut season.

Brad Binder, aboard the KTM RC16, delivered another gritty performance, collecting seven championship points for his 9th place finish. The South African was locked in a wheel-to-wheel battle with Acosta for much of the race, showcasing Red Bull KTM’s competitive edge through the tight midfield.

The Italian Grand Prix, held at the 5.2 km Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, featured searing track temperatures and fast-paced drama across its 15 corners. Maverick Viñales, a standout in Saturday’s Sprint with a 4th place finish, was unfortunately taken out of contention for a podium position after contact on lap nine at Turn 3.

Red Bull KTM Tech3’s Enea Bastianini also suffered misfortune, crashing out at Turn 15 on the opening lap. Despite these setbacks, the team remains focused as the 2025 MotoGP calendar moves rapidly into its next challenge.

With little time to regroup, teams now shift their attention to the historic TT Circuit Assen for the Dutch Grand Prix, Round 10 of the season, where MotoGP will celebrate a century of racing at one of its most iconic venues.
